It was a fairly pleasant day for much of the area with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and breezy winds. Some isolated thunderstorms developed north of Cheyenne during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage tonight over the Panhandle....

Tonight: Skies will be partly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms possible. Some storms could be strong with hail and gusty winds. Overnight lows will be in the 40s and 50s. Winds will remain breezy from the northwest at 5-15 MPH. Expect stronger winds in thunderstorms.

Friday: A cold front will move through the area early in the day allowing for cooler temperatures to move in to the region. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will be gusty behind the front at 15-25 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH possible. Overnight, winds will be breezy with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies with temperatures falling in to the 40s.

Saturday: High pressure will bring sunny skies and pleasant temperatures to the Tri-State region. Highs will be in the low 80s. Overnight, skies will be clear with temperatures in the 40s.

Sunday: Skies will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the lower 80s. Overnight lows will be comfortably cool as they reach the mid 40s.

Monday: Skies will become partly cloudy with temperatures reaching the upper 70s and lower 80s. Overnight, skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 40s.

Tuesday through Thursday: Skies will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Areas of fog and drizzle may develop on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. As of now, the forecast looks to remain dry, but some isolated showers and thunderstorms may need to be added to the forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon.
