Antenna/Loss of Signal Information

Cheyenne - 6/12/2009

With the upcoming June 12th DTV conversion, KGWN and KSTF will cease analog operations at 3PM on June 12th 2009.

KGWN will cease broadcasting the analog signal on channel 5, and will continue to broadcast the digital signal on channel 30.

KSTF will cease broadcasting the analog signal on channel 10, and will continue to broadcast the digital signal on channel 29.

The areas that may be affected include the following Counties, in Wyoming; Northern and Central Goshen, Platte, and Albany, in Nebraska; Banner, and Kimball Counties, in Colorado; Larimer, Weld, Morgan and Boulder Counties.

Viewers of KSTF in the Western Panhandle of Nebraska may experience a loss of service due to a change in our channel from VHF to UHF and/or a change in operating power.

The areas that maybe affected because of this are the following Counties, in Wyoming; Goshen, Platte, Laramie, in Nebraska; Banner, Kimball, Cheyenne, Morrill, Box Butte, and Sioux Counties.

All viewers should periodically rescan their televisions or digital converter boxes to ensure that they have been updated to receive all of the available stations within their viewing area.

KGWN and KSTF channels after June12th at 3:00PM

KGWN and KSTF are no longer going to be on analog after June 12th, at 3:00PM. You can receive us on these channels:

KGWN:
Converter Box scan will be 5-1, KGWN/HDTV-5, KGWN/HDTV-30, Cable systems not affected, Bresnan/HDTV-705, Dish/HDTV-7001.

KSTF:

Converter Box scan 10-1, Digital channel 29, Cable systems not affected. Still get on Dish channel 5 and Charter 10

Northern Colorado:
Converter Box scan Digital only, NO HDTV 5-2, Cable systems not affected.

ComCast:
Greeley-14
Lovland/Fort Collins-8
USA Cable-5
